Spend cap

I have just raised my spend cap, however when I try to purchase something it still says third party bar restrictions in place

What is it that you're trying to purchase on your phone?

 

As per EE's help on using spend cap , the facility doesn't restrict in-app purchases and it's possible there's another reason for this problem.
