Speed Problem

About a month ago my speed drastically dropped from a consistent 72mbps to 49mbps, I have just performed a test on speedtest.btwholesale and it says ee have set my line profile to 53, why is this? when I signed up I was told speeds up to 78 and minimum of 55? they seemed to have removed their online chat with a text service.

Any noise on your line? 17070 option 2, best with corded phone. You may get a dull hum with cordless.

 

Can you post your full router stats:

For a BrightBox: login and go to Advanced Settings/ System/ DSL Status. Also post 'System Uptime' from top of System Log page.
For a SmartHub: login and go to Advanced Settings/ Technical Log/ Information. Obscure your names & any numbers in the BB Username & also the SSIDs.
