I have now tried two different and new smart TV's in my caravan without success.
My 4G dongle connects well to phones, tablets and laptops, but whilst my TV can recognise it, once I put in the password it simply wont connect.
These were both new out of the box TV's, different makes, but the problem was exactly the same. Which suggests something wrong with the dongle. I get a consistent and pretty strong mobile signal on the dongle too.
Any ideas? How can I get this to work please?
Btw the password is correct.

Hi @DulwichRed
What dongle and TV do you have?
Have you received any error message from the TV?
Have you tried resetting the TV (if you had it connected to another network in the past)
Thanks

Does that mean it's a touchscreen or are you driving the on-screen keyboard from a remote control?
With such keypads you need to be careful not to mix up upper & lower case and some don't always cater for all the special chars in the pwd.

Does the mobile router provide 2 SSIDs, each on the 2,4GHz & the 5GHz bands? Have you tried both of them for connecting the TV?

It's not a switch. SSIDs are the network names the TV sees. Are there 2 of them from this router?
