Hi,
I have an EE Smart Hub WiFi router connected to the roadside cabinet over copper. The WiFi doesn’t reach to the far corners of the house very well for Zoom chats etc, so I bought a wifi mesh extender from TP Link, the P9. This is connected to the Smart Hub by Ethernet. The P9 wants to be told what type of connection the Smart Hub router Has. I have to choose from one of the following:
a) Dynamic IP
b) Static IP
c) PPPoE
d) L2TP
e) PPTP
f) DS-Lite
anyone know what the Smart Hub will be set to?
Thanks in advance, Steve

The EE SH is
- a) on its WAN side to the DSL phone socket.
- c). on its LAN side to the Mesh.

@lucyewright1983 the TP Link website has some very good setup videos here https://www.tp-link.com/uk/support/download/deco-m5/
You will probably need to set it up in access point mode as we don't know what router or sevice you are on.

@lucyewright1983 : You need to set the Mesh on its WAN side to PPPoE.
