@JOHN206 your number is normally displayed in your phone settings it doesn’t matter that you’re in Scotland as EE cover Scotland also. Does the text send when you texted number to 150 ?

@JOHN206 do you have a signal showing on the device ? Is this a new SIM card ? Have you just joined EE ? are you on contract or PAYG ? It can take up to 24 hours for a SIM card to activate and you will see the phone number on the packaging that came with this SIM card. Also if your phone isn’t from EE is your phone unlocked to use a different network Sim card than the one it was originally on ?

need a number. The 11 digit number that shows up on my Google it doesn't
recognize. The sim card has a 19 digit number and it only takes 11 digits.

For sending texts, check your phone's message centre number in the settings. It should be set to +44 7958 879879

Did you receive your sim card in a small credit card sized piece of plastic packaging inside a small transparent plastic bag with a barcoded sticker sealing it? I found my number written on the white barcoded sticker.
After using the mobile number to activate the sim card online, the number also became visible within my device.

If it helps, according to my Netgear M1, the 19 digit number is likely to be the SIM serial number (not typically of much use to consumers).
The mobile telephone number (a.k.a. service number) shows as a twelve digit number beginning 44, but it's just as likely the service number could be displayed as an eleven digit number beginning 07.
It's possible that if your service number does not show in your phone, the SIM may not yet have been activated. On the other hand, my Virgin Mobile service number does not show in my phone but it works absolutely fine. My Three service number in the phone shows with a "+44" prefix.
Edit: once your voice and text service is active, obviously you can just call or text any other mobile to see your service number there.
