If I order a new SIM card will it automatically deactivate the previous one or can I use both in two phones?

Any replacement SIM is exactly that, a replacement. Ordering a replacement SIM for whatever reason will result in the existing SIM being blocked/deactivated.
You can only have one SIM active on any one mobile number at a time.

You can't use the same no. in 2 devices at once. You'll need to activate the replacement SIM.
