My wife and i are UK citizens currently residing in USA.
We are planning our move back to the UK and have ordered a couple of the free sim cards that ee offers and got them mailed to us by a family member.
We will activate our current phones with the ee soon card once we get back to the UK.
The sim cards say to activate by 23rd May. My problem is with us having to sell property here we have no idea if we'll be back by that time.
Do these sim cards actually have to be activated before that date or is it just a case that they'll lose any benefits/bonus features of the plans that were available from when i ordered the sim cards originally?
Thanks
Rich

Hi @richwilshaw,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
Please could you share a link to the particular SIM offer you purchased?
Thanks

I'm trying to add photos but it doesn't seem to be showing them online once i send them.
The sim plan I ordered was on November 20th 2020 and was the unlimited talk and text, 100GB data (was 60GB) for £30
Thanks
Rich

Hi @richwilshaw,
Your images have now been approved.
You should still be able to activate the SIM after the date shown, but you wouldn't benefit from the limited time offer.

Ok great and thank you for the fast response
I am not concerned with the plan details/cost as long as we have working phones, just wanted to make sure that the sim cards would still work after that date
Thanks again
