I’m in desperate need of money and I can’t get a loan, but I’m approved for an upgrade
i want to sell the new phone but I know there is the clause of 6 months. I’m going to keep paying it for the rest of the contract I don’t care about that.
what’s the chances of it being picked up and why is it a problem if I’m paying the contract ?
desperate for money at the moment and have no other choice as I can’t get credit

You'd be in breach of the T&Cs you've agreed to.

And the ramifications are?

What of the chances of the Police picking you up when you drive 60 MPH in a 30 MPH zone?

Hi @Harrison6868 ,
If you have agreed with the service provider that the phone belongs to the service provider in the first six months, then it is not your property to sell.
It would be the same as if I decided to rent your car to someone for a couple of months when you own the car.
You would put the buyer in a bad spot as they will pay you money but not own the phone so you will have committed fraud on that buyer and by posting on here you are confessing to that. They may also be in a bad spot if they are unable to unlock the phone to use the phone on a different network and you will receive less money that you could in the future selling the phone unlocked when you actually own it.
My feeling is that it's important to avoid downward spirals of bad decisions in life, and selling someone else's property and defrauding an innocent buyer don't inspire me with confidence.
Your best play would be to offer a friend a written contract where they advance you the money and they become the owner after the six month period. (You'll need to read the terms to see if you can lend the phone for your friend's usage, I'm pretty sure you're not permitted to charge for that usage.)
