Samsung s20 ultra order

I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.

i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

Yes that is the first shipment but will be for all networks plus Samsung direct sales.

There will not be enough phones on that shipment for everyone guaranteed.

This happens every year with Samsung Galaxy range and Apple phones.

Supply can never outweigh demand.

From what I hear sales are way down world wide on s20s compared to s10s.... Also on different note.... Do not go by live chat info when connected to call /help center abroad..... I was chasing up info on upgrade 2 weeks ago today... And was told because I pre ordered and was valued Customer I would receive my handset with 7 days lol

Yes they will get their phones but not everyone will get on release day.

No I don't work for EE I just an realistic in knowing what will happen because I have been around this community for 7 years or so (had another account before this one)

You do know he ship takes two get to uk so everyone phones will be here

That shipment will not include everyones phones in the entire UK who have pre-ordered if you think that then you need to do a little research.

There will be delays for some people.

Look back to the S10, S9, S8 S7, S6 and so on.

Look back to the iPhone 6 7 8 and so on including their S variants and no X and XR whatever they are called nowadays.

Because you spoke to a customer service rep from Samsung doesn't mean it'll happen they have scripts they have to follow and to tell you yes they will come is one of those scripts Samsung will not want to cause panic and outrage so they will say anything.

So again not everyone will receive their phones from Day 1.

I got the same although I’m on an anytime upgrade plan so technically not allowed to go down to a cheaper plan but as they’ve sent me that I’ll be expecting EE to honour it.

People will get their phones by end March and Samsung and ee have good relationship in uk .

Now you are saying by end of March instead of release day.

So which is it?

Release day or end of march?

And when did I ever say Samsung and EE don't have a good relationship? Having a good relationship doesn't mean the phones will be fulfilled from day 1.

Look I'm just saying people may get their phone between 13th or end march and they are no delays on Samsung end atm
