Samsung s20 ultra order

I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.

 

i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

i see EE have again removed the 512gb from their website

The site is saying in stock . And then underneath Order now. We’ll deliver to you as soon as we receive stock from Samsung.. Does EE have them or not?

Last couple of times I have phoned sndcssked customer service, they keep saying Out of Stock.

 

I just dont think they want to tell the truth

I'd agree @5hIfTy that £5 ain't a lot extra a month but when you own several devices, like me and they sell there "Good as new" devices for only a max of £10 less... It kinda shows we could be given a better deal, specially as I usually keep my devices anyway an pay the fee for them... So I would rather they give me the top plans £5 cheaper, then make customers that keep there devices, subsidies it.

Good luck @MissRoseGold I phoned them up again today to see what was happening with my call back from management and see what they could do to sort this mess out...

Got transferred between a few people, each saying the next person would be able to send me proof of pre-order, so I could drop to the 128GB model and still get the buds...

To eventually be told they couldn't, so I bit the bullet and took the downgrade anyway.

 

But did it on the wrong number so had to cancel it 🤦🏻‍♂️

Was told it would have to get forward to management to sort out and would get a call back before 8PM today...

No surprise to me, I didn't receive a call back and I've had two emails stating a 128GB order and a message from DPD to say there delivering it tomorrow.

 

So I'm now looking forward to a nightmare of hoping they switched it to the right contract, that they haven't messed up my iPhone and Apple watch plans (watch has to be linked to iOS plan) so I can still upgrade them to the latest models in September/October and not be left with a useless Apple watch till then.

Sorry for the rant everyone, just annoyed two days in a row I was offered and promised call backs... But both days I never got a call back and now left stressing on, Am I gonna have to return this delivery and have they messed up my plan or sorted it out on to the right one.

I totally understand the frustration here. I think at this point, we're all more than entitled to be annoyed.

 

I've had no update from EE at all, like everyone else. No communication. I got in contact with them online and it was the same copy and paste answer. I've had mine pre-ordered since February. I'm fully expecting them to give me up early upgrade fee back which they charged me for there and then.

 

If not, I think I'll just cancel altogether and learn from the sting of EE. I can accept that it may not be their fault. I contacted Samsung who apparently had no idea about all of this 🤷🏻‍. Even if they couldn't do anything, a call or message would have been great and I would've been fine.
