I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.

i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

@Graeme2812 I read before the "launch" 😂 that the frequency range was different on the S20 compared to the other two, something about missing the lower band of 5g, so I stand corrected the s20+ and ultra would probably need a new SIM.

If your moving from a 4G/3G phone to any 5G phone regardless of which 5G band it is, you will need to use the new SIM included with the delivery to benefit from a 5G plan paired with a 5G device.

Tested this with a OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, LG V50 Thinq 5G and Samsung Note 10 Plus 5G.

If you only picked the cheaper 4G plans with your 5G device, you don't need to change the SIM as long as it's the right size.

Still waiting on my S20 Ultra 512GB, pre-ordered 26th of February like the rest of you, so hope they get delivered soon because otherwise I'll just cancel and go for either the OnePlus 8 Pro (Announcement on 14th April) or either the Note 20 Plus/Ultra or Fold 2, seeing as they will get announced in August (Fold) or September for the Note series or both.

The claim deadline for the free Galaxy Buds Plus is in May.

@Staffie85

Yea I have the s20 ultra 5g 512gb hopefully soon, so I will enquire if they will include one in, ty 🙂

Still waiting for the phone call!

It's very much like unlikely, everything we've learnt or found out points to May.

If EE had stocks coming in a week, I think we maybe would have heard of it, somehow.

Spoke to ee sat. They had delivery sat and will get round to people date order

I'm ready to cancel. I changed the handset to the 128gb Grey last week when I was told it was in stock and my order is still awaiting confirmation of delivery date.

Has anyone else got theirs?

If so I think I might cancel mine and go for a Note 10. My Note 9 wont make another month.

@Pandora16 I'd call them to chase it up rather than wait for it to arrive.

It's not uncommon for EE agents to make errors when processing the order. The first order I made for the 512gb, the agent had put my order date as the delivery date so it got stuck in the system 🙄

I've just been on the phone to EE..I ordered a Cosmic grey Ultra on 4th March,he told me they are out of Stock and it could be another 14 days until they get more stock, this was completely different to what I was told at the start of the week..the advisor today was honest,he said EE are getting the grey ones in dribs and drabs and then sending them to preorder customers but he admitted they've messed up with the amount of pre orders and stock..black ones are in stock but I dont want one of those...Looks like it's another few weeks until I get it!!

With the exception of EE business I cannot find any s20 ultra 512gb out there which I guess will come as no surprise, so it looks like it's gonna be some time folks.
