I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.

i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

Agreed on the poor choice of colours lol. I was tempted to just get the s20 standard for the pink but I wanted the better camera and also use a case at all times too. Think its safe to say no one will receive one tomorrow now as its getting too late for the DPD text. Maybe it'll be another friday delivery...if we aren't in total lockdown by then.

Order my 128gb ultra in black on the 5th of March , from online chat and at the time they told me I would receive by the 20th March ,  still nothing , just an update on the 19th saying on track and get ready for new phone, hope I get by Friday or i will have to cancel.

Still waiting too, s20 ultra 128gb grey ordered 3rd March. And like wise no update at all from EE to say its been delayed. Put in a complaint about the lack of communication as I would of been understanding about the delay if they had advised me there was one rather than zero messages just automated ones saying my order is on track, how can it be on track if its 12 days late?

Still waiting on my grey s20 ultra 128gb, carphone warehouse this morning showed as having them in stock for next day delivery. Even confirmed stock through their live chat, currys had them in stock the other day too

Ordered the S20 Ultra 512gb in cosmic grey on 25th February.

We are nearly a month down the line and I've had literally zero information from EE that I haven't had to chase up myself. The last info I received was on Saturday when I called them about something non related and was told I'd be waiting "a maximum of 3 weeks" for the phone to arrive.

The country will be in lockdown by then so this could easily become 3 months! I'm more annoyed about pre ordering to ensure I received the phone on release day. Had I known I'd be waiting an additional month I wouldn't have bothered. EE were quick to take the delivery charge and handset deposit tho.

I understand it's not just EE that's at fault here and Samsung are partly/mainly responsible but the lack of communication from EE needs to be addressed for future pre orders! EE have likely calculated that being honest and saying the phone will be delayed may result in many people going elsewhere so better to string them along in the hope they will wait it out and ensure another 2 years worth of money.

A goodwill gesture from EE for all those who preordered but are still waiting would have gone a long way.

Definitely, but I think they actually might have to close the stores, as they already closed EE chat down so I can't get in touch with them about the pre order of my phone.

Popped into store yesterday, told they've not got a clue when the ultras are arriving and they do have stock of S20 and S20+

I'm not in a rush, but it's frustrating with the pre-orders not being delivered before the launch date, let alone after!

After watching a few videos comparing the ultra to other phones I really hope they bring out some decent software updates... Don't get me started on the exynos Vs Snapdragon debate either 😂

I was just on the phone to EE regarding a totally different matter (was a call on behalf of my Dad) and having spoken in general about things, they said any orders on the ultra as of today (as an example) are looking at a 21 day wait. I don't think that's a huge amount of time and as long as they continue to get regular deliveries, there is no reason why orders placed long before today won't be completed sooner.

Telecommunications are classed as key workers, as are delivery drivers, so I don't believe a lockdown should affect anything. At least, fingers crossed. If we are going into lockdown, a new phone wouldn't be a bad thing!

I ordered on the exact same day and was told by the online chat to expect delivery on or around 10th March - Confirmation email says 24th March. Still not received any confirmation email - EE Track My Order keeps saying "order is on its way" but nothing yet
