Samsung galaxy ultra s21

My phone keeps overheating and freezing. Is anyone else having this issue? My old phone was a p30 pro and it never froze or overheated if I was doing multiple things. Considering spec wise, having a 16gb ram and 512 GB of storage I didn't think so early in the game the phone would crumble. I haven't even started gaming on it, merely talking on WhatsApp whilst watching YouTube which I did even with the basic of phones with no issues.

Is this something repairable or just a norm for Samsung?

Hi @Polaris19,

Do you see any error messages before your phone freezes? How long does it freeze for?

Is the phone just getting warm to the touch or too hot to touch?

Thanks

James

It's too hot to touch and so shuts down all applications. After that I put
the phone down. When I came back to it that's when the freeze occurred

The freezing went on until I restarted the phone so indefinite.

No error messages came when it froze it just wouldn't let me click on
anything

Kind regards

Shanayde

Call EE to get it looked at. Being so early on in the game they may just replace it.

This is not the norm for Samsung phones

Hi @Polaris19

Have you run the battery and device care app? You might have a currupt app if you transferred over apps from your last device.

Thanks

Hi

Having similar issues to yourself.

Phone overheats while doing minimal task.

Gets to the stage it to hot to continue and have to leave it for 10 minutes to cool down.

Battery also draining very quickly.

Had s10+ previously and battery life was better on this after 18 months.

Reading alot online of similar issues with other people.
