Samsung galaxy fold z release

I have pre ordered the fold z and had conflicting information from EE, such as the 18,21 September and we have no date so no one should be giving out a date is what I have been told.

 

Do we have a confirmed ee release date as to when I will get my product

It will update via DPD first. Around now is the time they text you telling you they're planning on making your delivery the next morning.

 

There's still hope I guess, the latest I've ever got that text was at 9pm.

not that its likely to help.. but at least you got that far.. still haven't got my order confirmation.. told on the phone it will be confirmed at some point. Ordered 2-3weeks ago.

I think all of our order tracking just says order confirmed, I know thats all mine says. I was wondering maybe if the stock will go straight to dpd so we would only get a text tomorrow morning saying the 1 hour slot? I'm not sure but its a possibility as both advisers I spoke to yesterday and today said text in the morning of delivery. I could be wrong though. Very frustrating having us all hanging on like this.

As my title suggests there is no dispatch till tomorrow. Just spent 20 minutes on live chat getting it cleared up. Take the transcript of my chat below with a pinch of salt as we know how deceiving they have been so far. He did however go off to double-check what he had told me though so I feel like this is as clear as it gets.

 

Ive made some in bold to make the important bit stand out. Its a sad day for us.

 

  • Daniel: So I was told that its meant to be arriving tomorrow and that I would be getting my dpd notification today but I haven't got it. Even my tracking link hasn't moved to dispatch within 24 hours

 

  • Natasha: I can completely understand that and I can see that you have placed an Samsung Z Fold2 Mystic Black which is still in Open Sales Order which means that your order has reached the warehouse, but their device is yet to be picked.
  • Natasha: The order is in progress, we are currently working to allocate the device and once we have done this and the device is ready to ship we will update them via SMS with their delivery details.

 

  • Daniel: So does that means its not coming tomorrow?
  • Daniel: Because I've been told multiple times it is coming tomorrow

 

  • Natasha: It will be launching tomorrow so when it is out for delivery you will get it on first come first serve basis.

 

  • Daniel: So that's a no to it being delivered tomorrow?
  • Daniel: I'm just looking for a straight answer

 

  • Natasha: Daniel, to be honest, I do not want to give you any false hope so I do not want to give you false information regarding your delivery.

 

This goes on for ages not giving me a yes or no. Eventually got transferred to the manager.

 

  • Daniel: Hey Mayank, I'm just trying to get a yes or no answer to if any fold 2 devices are being sent out tonight for delivery tomorrow
  • Daniel: There is a bunch of people including me in the EE community forums struggling to get clarification on this
  • Daniel: We know its a first come first serve basis but we just want a clear rock solid answer to if any at all are being sent tonight

 

  • Mayank: I would like to inform you that the launch date is tomorrow and it wont be dispatched tonight

 

  • Daniel: Many of us have been told it is and it isn't arriving tomorrow so you can imagine everyone's frustration
  • Daniel: Thank you for clearing that

 

  • Mayank: Where was this told to you?

 

  • Daniel: Multiple Ee support agents
  • Daniel: I'm not the only one
  • Daniel: We have a big post going in the EE forums
  • Daniel: I was even told mine should of arrived today by one agent
  • Daniel: I'll update everyone and let them know that you have they are not going 0ut tonight though. Thank you for clearing that up

 

  • Mayank: Let me get this checked and ensure no miscommunication is provided

 

  • Daniel: Thank you, I'll wait for you to confirm before I post anything to the others

 

  • Mayank: We will start delivering order from tomorrow
  • Mayank: Once this is dispatched you will be notified via DPD

 

  • Daniel: Sorry, delivering or dispatching tomorrow?
  • Daniel: To different things, as delivering tomorrow would assume dispatch tonight
  • Daniel: Just want to make sure I tell them correctly

 

  • Mayank: We will start delivery from tomorrow and it will be dispatched then a customer gets a text saying that your order is on its way

 

 

 

 

These guys are clueless.. One second he's saying it's going to be dispatched tomorrow- and then its delivered tomorrow.

 

Arrgh its driving me crazy.. All I want is that text from DPD to come through 

I am praying for that text tomorrow! It just seems so strange that's the way it's going to happen. A text on the day of delivery doesn't seem right.

Its all confusing tbh, but from what I gathered from that chat is that it wont be dispatched till tomorrow earliest.

I'm going though my phone texts from DPD with all the other things I've ordered from other places..

 

For me 7-8pm is when they text me typically, but a few times they have text me in the morning telling me they'll be coming later on in the day.

 

There is still hope, but it feels like I'm clutching at straws

Won't get delivery tomorrow. It would have had to be dispatched today which means the EE system would have to have updated and DPD would have got a notification to deliver tomorrow...which we would have got a notification saying DPD were planning to deliver. Then the 1 hour slot text tomorrow. Oh well...poor show from EE.

 Just got to pray that its EE's usual terrible communication and they are coming tomorrow.
