Samsung galaxy fold z release

I have pre ordered the fold z and had conflicting information from EE, such as the 18,21 September and we have no date so no one should be giving out a date is what I have been told.

 

Do we have a confirmed ee release date as to when I will get my product

The man on the phone said that they are probably being scanned through
depending on colour and stuff so hopefully we get texts soon.

On the phone now with them. On hold as I said you do have stock lol

I've just realised I didn't order until the 8th so I probably won't get mine in the initial batch of orders being picked today. Ordered a mystic bronze one

I ordered on the 6th, Mystic Bronze too. So would be interested to see how this affects who gets theirs first. 

 

Either way this experience has taken the shine out of this launch. I don't feel as excited now just deflated. 

 

All of us here putting in far too much effort into trying to find out (or guess) what the situation is.

Stock is not 0, but 1.... EE guy is so confused haha.

So the conclusion of the call.

 

The initial stock is all gone now. (At least for black)

Can take up to 10 days before the next shipment from Samsung comes in.

Said to call up tomorrow in case anything changes.

Just off the phone, their phone support is so much more helpful compared to the live chat!

 

So for anyone in my situation where you have an order but the tracker isn't working/showing anything yet, it may mean you've not been allocated a handset yet, so it is possible we're not in this first run of orders.

 

Shame, but I did only order on the morning of the 10th, so I was expecting this a little.

@Philwsk Im pretty certain you should still have an EE tracking order though? 

 

I haven't been allocated one yet but still have my EE tracker. Just says order confirmed and waiting for it to change to "dispatch expected in 24 hours". 

 

Also tells you that your pre order is confirmed. 

 

If you put your order number into the EE tracker and get nothing that would be a red flag for me.
