The Android 11 OneUI 3.0 update is available for the S20+, I just requested a software update on my phone and it's downloading now.

Thanks EE for pushing it out so quickly, impressive!

I have the Note20Ultra5g... When will Android 11 and One UI 3.0 be available on my handset? Also, I haven't had a security update since the 1st October's update. Is there anyway to reference information on these updates? I know EE do their checks but I think an update schedule would be nice. Can you let me know if you have any dates for the upcoming software/os updates?

Thanks,

AJ

I have a Samsung s20 plus 5g with EE and I didn't receive the December update to Android 11 to this date

Hi @Andrei90,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

You'll receive a notification on your phone when Samsung roll out the update to your particular device.

Hi

The handset has never had an update, it's stating the current software is UI 2.5 & Android 10.

Whenever I search for an update it has an error message which states "unable to connect to the network or server, please try again later"

The handset is brand new from EE only received it on the 1st February 2021

Hiya,

Have you tried signing out of your Samsung Account and logging back in? If
that's doesn't work then a full factory reset. And failing both of those
options; ring EE on 150 and the Technical team will test & replace your
handset. Post what happens on here. Good luck x

So I followed your advice it's the 4yh time I've factory reset the phone. I then called EE who told me o can have a replacement but... They cannot deliver it to my partner's house? Even though they delivered the original handset here because I'm isolating from my parents due to them being vulnerable & on the shielding list...

They've told me I have to change the address on the account to my partner's address in order for them to be able to get a replacement handset to me.

Make it make sense, they're saying it's to stop fraud, but I explained if that's the case why did they deliver the upgrade handset here in the first place? I still had to show my id and prove I was who I am so what's the difference if your simply collecting a dodgy handset & replacing it with a new one.

I'm within my 30 days cooling off period so entitled to a replacement but they won't send it to me?

Maybe ask them to note your file and complete once you stop self-isolating
which is rubbish because nobody knows when that will be...? Or go ahead and
order the replacement and is your ID with your parents? I'm sure dpd will
deliver without showing ID...? I've never had show iD when accepting a new
handset although I know it does state it but I really don't think it will
be checked. I'd try get it delivered because even in the small chance it
doesn't, it will just go back to EE in any case!
