Why does EE not rollover data ?

I have been on a high 10mb data plan as now and again I use 8mb however for whatever reason last 2 months I have used 3 and 4 my respectively... what happens to my spare unused data EE ?

I think we all know....

Is it time for me to cut ties with EE and take my custom elsewhere..??

@dosser123456   You do know that other networks will offer different features to gain customers.  You do know that a standard contract on sky is 36 months not 24 months.

and there is nothing stopping you from having a lower tariff and then once you realise you need more data you can increase that allowance by paying more for it  ?   I’m sure your aware that you’ve used 8Gb previously so your tariff was about right at that time.    It’s only when you don’t use more data you think there should be a change.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
You do know that customers vote with their feet and don't like paying for things they don't use yes ? You sound like a Power Company.Or do you think customers on higher tariffs for Electricity and Gas for example should accept it too ? You're welcome. Sent from my Galaxy

No one is telling you that you have to like EE's policy or that you can't leave.

Thats down to you and your own personal choice. You can choose to go if you wish we or EE won't stop you but EE's policy on data is not to roll it over which you knew about when you signed up. It doesn't matter if your circumstances has changed you signed a contract knowing the full facts and agreed to it for a minimum of 12/24 months depending on what tariff you have.

As already stated Skys contracts are not 12 or 24 months.

Their Swap12 is 24 month contract

Their Swap24 is a 36 month contract. They also do break down the phone and tariff payments but if you look closely they way over charge for the phones.

A Galaxy Fold2 5G on Sky is £2220 everywhere else its at it's RRP of £1799

It's clear this a losing battle talking with you on the matter. At no point did I ever say you or EE would stop me or indeed other customers leaving- not sure what your issue is there. I am merely stating a fact that EE should consider rolling over data as it may prevent them from losing customers. But whatever...Sent from my Galaxy

@dosser123456   And other customers will leave other networks and join EE it’s a constant battle of who can offer the best tariff/price at the time that somebody wants a new device/upgrade.  No network is perfect and all networks offer different things to retain and get new customers.

The data roll over requests for EE to offer this is because one or two MVNO networks started to offer it a year or so ago.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

And EE may adopt it.

Sky now allows their customers to gift data to other people on their account.

EE started it. But EE's system is better, because with Sky you can't gift your allowance you can only gift if you have data saved up in their PiggyBank

Yes I realise this which is why I am making this suggestion. It's perhaps something that EE should be doing to retain and attract new customers Sent from my Galaxy

So what you're saying is EE like doing new initiatives to retain their customers and attract new ones ?

I rest my case .

Thanks we got there in the end.
