Hi
Just got a replacement sim card to see if it resolves an ongoing call/reception quality issue and now I'm unable to upgrade early, is this due to it being considered a new contract and if so why wasn't this clearly communicated to me?

A replacement SIM for an existing no. is not a new contract. It's just what it says it is!
