Register new SIM

I received my new SIM yesterday. 

I am currently a customer of EE and just updated my contract. 

I put the SIM in, waited 24 hours for it to register with EE and nothing. 

I have done the switching on and off,  but to no avail. 

Please help.

@Em-99   If you upgraded why not just keep using your old sim.  It’s only an account change to a different contract and a new sim is not needed.
