I had a nice coloured in letter with my sim highlighting the 50G for £20 available for three months.. popped sim into phone. Added £20 credit.. tried to use this to pay for the pack. Took 0.00 just like you. Support chat tried for an hour then said they "cant do it from their end" and to phone tomorrow. I guess that's £20 lost and no comeback. Good way to make money I reckon

solved the no pack add failure.. This is a BIG SUMMER DEAL £20 for 50G sim. And it's brand new. The account was credited with 20 but from the portal the pack wouldn't let you pay for itself and said success but with a figure of £0
The solution is as follows: New sims come with a preloaded 50MB and you have to eat your way through this before the credit buys the pack.
The next problem was the BIG SUMMER DEAL didn't kick in and the £20 defaulted to the regular 15G pack and needed CS to add it manually which if you weren't watching closely you might miss and simply run out.
So it's right now but was clearly not automatic or obvious.

If that means 50GB lasting 3 months for £20 it sounds like a data SIM. You don't buy packs on a data SIM.
Look at http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status when not connected to WiFi to see your data & credit status.
