Porting number to EE from Vodafone

Haskins85

Evening,

Hopefully just a quick one.

Moving from Vodafone to EE, I ordered my Sim Only contract on Monday, while in the ordering process, it asked for my PAC and number I wanted to port.

Sim arrives today (3 working days after) but it’s using the new number! Do I have to do the process again? Or is it basically waiting for me to setup the new Sim and it’ll change after ‘X time’ from that moment?

Thanks in advance 👍🏼

Hi @Haskins85.

Have you given EE your PAC already?

If so, it'll take up to 24 hours to activate.

If you haven't given us your PAC, you will need to do this to start the process.

Jon

I gave the PAC and my phone number number over when I ordered the Sim online (Monday)

I only put it into my iPhone last night, so I’m guessing it’ll be 24hrs from that time?

Which is annoying really.

Hi @Haskins85.

That's right, 24 hours from your SIM being activated.

Jon

Ok...so 24hrs down, still no confirmation of porting my number 😥

Is there anything else I need to do? Anything from Vodafone side that I need to do? Or is requesting the PAC number enough?

Hi @Haskins85.

If you've got your PAC from your previous network, the given it to us, this will start the porting process.
