Relatively new Sony Xperia L4. Phones going Psycho! Flashing, changing page, ignores input and thumb recognition. Then suddenly behaves. Need a replacement. Won't trust a repair. Nothing to repair cos it hasn't been damaged. Also, I took out FULL cover, why does account say I don't have it? Still, the phone is faulty. No damage occurred, just an erratic Phone. 🙈
Should have kept my old phone! This phones cheap, deceivingly nice to look at before I took it. Picture focus is terrible lol. Need a collection & replacement. But right now nobodies home. HELLOOO!!! Nope. Huge company, no workers. Hmmm.

You posted at midnight.
They are closed.it doesn't matter how big a company is they do close at night.
You need to call in morning at 8am. But they will go for repair rather than replace.
If you got full cover insurance you can use that to replace but you'll have to pay the excess fee.

You can disagree but processes are in place. You don't just get what you want because that's what you think you deserve.

First thing you need to do is a backup then do a hard reset.
This could well be a software glitch which is often cured by such a measure.
No matter what happens ref a repair etc, that'll be the very first thing a service agent will do . If the issue resolves itself you will simply have the handset returned to you
As far as a replacement is concerned, @BrendonH is correct. EE like all other networks and manufacturers have certain criteria in place and will usually offer a repair rather than a replacement. You are almost certainly not going to be offered a replacement if you've had the handset longer than 28 days. And you're in no position to demand an exchange after that unless you want to start going down a potentially expensive and fruitless legal route
EE will want to resolve your issue ASAP though. So ring them on 150 and they'll provide a resolution to the issue in hand.
Hope this helps.
