Pay as you go packs - auto renewal mandatory?

I have just got a new sim that I plan to use as a data hotspot. As the data rolls over, I opted for the pack with the most data that I could just use up and top up as and when. However, on going to set up the pack it looks like i have to sign up for a monthly auto renewal. Is this right? I want to just be able to 'pay as I go'.

@hazak : No. You can top-up & buy your chosen pack whenever you like. It will only auto renew when you have sufficient credit to buy it. Otherwise it will wait until you next do.

However they are only 30-day packs. So if you want to have data most the time you might want to let it auto renew most of the time.
