PAC or STAC Code does not work

I've just taken a new SIM only deal out and also had a new iPhone SE with this, but I've done this through a third party (Affordable mobiles). I'm still with EE but I can't cancel my old SIM only deal or get a PAC or STAC code to cancel/port my existing number. I've rang 150 and got told I have to get a pay as you go sim from another provider, but then the information given was very confusing, so would appreciate it if someone could explain exactly what I need to do please.

Thanks

Richard

Is it worth calling 150 again tonight and asking for the PAC code then?

I've read some damning reviews about Affordable mobiles (and I've not heard back from them as yet), so getting a little apprehensive

James_B kindly offered to call me but the call never materialised???

Are there any other customer care team members available to call me to help get this problem solved please?

Whoever the kind person was that just rang me, please call me again as my phone got cut off (maybe that was something to do, with whatever was needed to solve my issue)

Regards

Rich

Nearly there, again, whoever the very helpful member was, could you please call me back when you can as I now have no service. Go into settings and it says ‘sim not provisioned’??

its definitely fitted in correctly so not sure what else it could be??

Please advise.

Thanks

Rich

@RICHWILKO  this is a public forum not customer services whoever you are hoping would call you back will not do it because they will not be reading your message on here you will need to call customer services.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

In all fairness the guy did call back and sorted my problem over the phone. Just proves you need to speak to the right person

Hi @RICHWILKO,

Is your SIM working now?

If not, have you tried both?

Thanks

James

Hi James,

Yes, my number has been ported and I’m messaging off my new iPhone SE now. Only question I have now is how do I know my previous sim deal has been cancelled? Can I find that on my EE account?

Thanks for your help.

Regards

Rich
