I have just ordered the iPhone 12 Pro Max online as my contract expires this month and I've had my free upgrade available for a while now.
I had no problem ordering the phone and I have my order number.
The problem I'm having is that I don't have any sort of confimation email or text from EE so I'm unsure whether or not my order is actually placed.
Also it said that I need Photo ID and my confirmation email when the phone is delivered.
So my question is, can it take a while for the confirmation email to come through and can anyone confirm that the order is actually placed?

Thanks for that. I was going to call after I tried to start a chat with customer service and it didn't work but I had the same thought as you with them being busy so I thought I'd try on here first.

If it is anything like with the new Apple Watch, the confirmation may not arrive until this evening, I would wait and see, but if not, I would suggest you ring customer service to check, although they are probably very busy right now, due to the new products and the lockdown again.
