Number porting

Hi, so today my number is porting over from Three to EE, about 10am this morning my Three sim went to no service, but now almost 4 hours later nothing else has happened, my number I’m porting is now a dead line when I try to call, and my EE sim is still with the temp number, my three account is also gone and I’m unable to log in, this doesn’t seem right to me? 
I have switched off and on the phone many times, it’s just like my number I’m porting no longer exists

@a_ukboy  Number ports can take a few hours.  It’s not done all in one go. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thanks @Chris_B for your quick reply! I think I’m just panicking a little as the number is important, I’m only concerned because I’ve ported a few times over the years and I’ve never known the number to become disconnected, also I’ve always noticed the sim from the old network has always been the last thing to disconnect, today it was the first thing! Hence the now dead line for my number being ported

Almost 12 hours now since my ported number became disconnected, I have no confidence any more it has worked, it’s still a dead number if you call it, and my temporary number is still working normally! 

I have never before ported my number and it’s been disconnected, usually during the port the number works on both sims until the number is transferred and then the original sim is disconnected, EE states you should get 2 texts, one when the port begins and another when it completes, I haven’t had either!

Still not ported, and the number being ported over from Three is still a dead number..

I’ve been in contact with them this morning, it seems to have got “stuck” they have given a fix timescale of 3 days! 
Let’s hope it’s sooner 🤞🏻
