Hi,
I’ve order a sim only contact with EE moving my number with me from Sky Mobile. I ordered my SIM on Saturday, had issues placing the order online but managed to place it over the phone and provided the PAC from Sky.
To my surprise this morning mySky SIM stopped working. My number seems to of been ported over to EE but I’m yet to receive the new SIM. I was under the impression the port would happen once I’ve activated the new SIM? Is this how it should work? Or was I misinformed?

Hi @LukeCalder
Welcome to the community.
Did you order your SIM card directly with EE or through a third party company?
When did you order your SIM?

Hi Chris,
Ordered the SIM on Saturday the 21st.
I’ve just been on to customer services as the sim still hasn’t arrived and turns out someone has stolen my post and activated the SIM!! Which caused the number to port over.
Apparently it’s not been used but what a nightmare.
I’m now waiting for a replacement SIM to arrive and have logged a complaint. Can’t say it’s a great start to joining the network.

I'm sorry to hear that, @LukeCalder.
Hopefully you have your replacement and are up and running soon.
Keep us posted on what happens.

Hi Chris,
Still not received my replacement SIM resulting in me still having no service on my phone.
Enquired about getting an E-Sim but apparently that also has to be sent in the post. Kinda defeats the purpose if you ask me. Don’t get why the QR code can’t be send via email, would probably be more secure.
I will be getting a pay as you go sim tomorrow if it still doesn’t arrive and asking for this to be credited.
Luke
