So - signed up with EE and filled in the online form to port my number from Vodafone. Nothing happened. I spoke to someone from EE who said the request had definitely gone through and that it would “definitely” happen today. No text to say it’s happening. Can’t get through on the phone and the online chat is “busy”. My Vodafone contract runs out in two days - I need this to happen NOW to cancel my contract which I explained when I signed up! Help!!!

When did you request the port to happen?
If Friday before 5pm
It'll be done by midnight tonight.
If Friday after 5pm it'll be done tomorrow.
If done over weekend it'll be done tomorrow.
Ports don't happen on weekends

All sorted now - it was something to do with Vodafone being morons and not releasing the number and then I had to change some settings on my device but EE staff were really nice and sorted it quickly via chat.
