Note 20

I have just upgraded to a note20 ultra and I have put a downloaded a series of pictures and applied them to my lock screen,  the only problem is that when I lock the phone I get a black screen with the clock and date on, but to get the pictures I have to press the lock button twice,  Is this a fault or have I done something wrong.  Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Dave

Hi @daveb799

Welcome to the community.

Does the wallpaper work properly with non-downloaded photos?

Chris

Hi

No it does not I have just tried one of my own pictures and when you lock the phone it goes to a black screen with a clock and other apps on as it should but no picture.

daveb799.. I have an older Galaxy S7.  There is setting in the 'Display' section called 'always on display' where I believe you can select your own image instead of turning off the screen.

Hi thanks for the information i do have the option of always on.  And I have had it on but it still does the same Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

OK thanks, @daveb799

Could you try backing everything up and restoring to factory settings. If this is a software fault, this may help.

Thanks

Chris

I could do but its not something I really want to do I was hoping it was something I had not done in the settings .  Its not a major issue it looks like I will have to live with it Thanks for everyone's comments and suggestions Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
