Where's my phone?

signed up for new 24 month contract yesterday, I was told my Samsung Galaxy A21s would be delivered via DPD today and they would text me before delivery. Had no word all day, just rang 150 got passed around a bit, then given a tracking number to try a locate my delivery myself via DPD tracker page. The number I've been given is not on DPD system, bells and whistles when I signed a new contract yesterday, nobody wants to know today. anyone else had this?

Aye, done that. It’s being delivered tomorrow, so another day off work with no pay to sit and wait For a phone that could potentially not show up until after work anyway. Not to worry I’ve another 3 accounts that are due to be renewed shortly!

I am sorry to hear you have not yet received your new phone.

 

When your parcel is out for delivery you will be provided a 1-hour delivery slot. 

 

You can also find this by searching with your tracking number on the DPD website/app.

That would be nice, unfortunately I didn’t get a text for a time slot, and subsequently missed a delivery due to having to poo!

This should be updated before your delivery is attempted.

I wasn't told to visit the site or download the app, only that I would receive a text an hour before delivery. I've just spoke with EE and they confirmed my suspicion, the phone number they had given DPD was not my number but the number of the phone which is being upgraded (upgraded due to the old phone being broken beyond repair, which EE knew about) EE have acknowledged their mistake in not giving DPD the correct contact number to reach me on and have compensated me for that. Hopefully I get a result tomorrow, after I check the tracking page and double download the app!
