A new iPhone6 to replace one of my family group on Virgin Mobile does not pick up the Virgin G4 signal. I would like to use an EE payg sim instead but the EE registration does not work with family groups. It seems only to allow me to replace my own number. Any ideas?

Hi @jeffreeves
I'm not entirely sure what Virgin Mobile has to do with your query except that you're trying to use a phone on EE, that was bought originally from Virgin Mobile?
I'm guessing you've bought a new EE PAYG SIM and are trying to register it?
And I may be totally off-base here but it's perhaps worth mentioning, Virgin Mobile isn't a network operator but "piggybacks" on EE with the same restrictions as EE PAYG has. So the signal you get on Virgin will be the same as you get on EE PAYG. EE PAYM often gets access to additional coverage.

If this is some "family group" concept of VM's it will have nowt to do with EE & I can't see that you'll be able to add an EE no. to it. Again I'm also guessing wildly. Please explain more clearly what you are trying to do in terms that someone not acquainted with VM's systems might understand.
