New data charges on my bill

I have recently seen on my bill data charge from businesses (Ocado,OpenTable) for 15p each for alert messages is this a new thing even if I have an unlimited data plan

Welcome to the community.

Your unlimited calls and text messages are for calling/texting UK mobile and landline numbers.

Any other numbers are likely to be chargeable.
