Ordered a new phone on Monday
Haven’t heard anything so contacted EE and they said they haven’t got that in stock and can’t give me any indication of when it will be in stock.
they offered me a lower model for the same price!!
the phone I wanted is still in the shop now for people to buy.
I have a pac code that will expire if I don’t switch over shortly.
as a new customer I can’t believe the poor service. Surely I should be offered an equivalent phone or better for the same price, not a model that has a lot less memory.

You wouldn't be offered a better handset, or you will need to wait for the one you have ordered.
Given the current world situation manufacturing is reduced.

Which phone did you order? How long have you got left on the 30 days your PAC is valid for?

If your PAC code expires all you need to do is ask for another PAC code from your current network.
