New Sim hasn't activated in almost 72 hours

The website and help all says 24 hours max but mine has taken longer. Is there a way to get this fixed now? Because at this point I'm just considering getting my phone and sim sent back and refunding it and going to a different provider as this is just not acceptable. As a customer I've been told 24 hours max and waited triple that.

Welcome to the EE Community,

 

If you call 0800 956 3146 from any other phone a tech advisor will be able to get your new sim up & running they shut at 8PM this evening and they reopen at 8AM in the morning.

I've tried calling 2 numbers and been on the chat room twice but all I get told is oh it will be done today or it will be done soon. Never any actual progress.

I will try that number tomorrow however.

It's a whole new contract the sim arrived with the phone and I put it in then.

I have signal bars but it only shows emergency calls only and when I try to add it to my EE account it says it isn't an EE number.

 

I didn't get my number transferred either I just put the new sim in and it's been over 85 hours at this point.

The SIM card should show signal for you if this is a new contract. 

 

Did you enter your PAC to transfer your number? 

 

Are you using an EE phone?

No i didn't try keep my old number.

I'm using the phone it came with (from EE)

 

I have signal but it won't show as an EE connection just as emergency calls only
