I want to buy the IMO Q2 Plus (True Blue) from EE, it's £29.99 but it says there must be a £10 minimum top up when buying this phone.
I'm on a sim only contract paying £11.53 a month so a £10 pay as you go top up would be completely useless.
Is there an option to just buy the phone?
Kind regards

Hi @MBurton1993
EE only sell phones with subscriptions of some kind, and on PAYG that means a compulsory top-up.
You can either source your phone from somewhere other than a network operator (high street shop, online retailer etc) or buy from EE and consider the top-up as part of the purchase price.
What you do with the SIM & credit that will come with a PAYG phone is entirely your choice.

@MBurton1993 : Not from EE but have you considered buying an unlocked SIM-Free phone outright online from somewhere like Amazon? Then you just need to put your existing SIM in it.
When considering buying PAYG phones from EE it all boils down to only buying them if they are at least £10/20 (for the compulsory Top-up) cheaper than everywhere else.

Thank you for your replies, I was able to buy the phone elsewhere for £22.99, if purchased through EE that would've cost me £39.99 (£29.99 plus minimum top up).
Maybe EE should review this minimum top up policy, I would've got it from them straight away otherwise.
