Hi there
I upgraded to this model last week however the website is saying 28 days for delivery. Is it possible I won't get this upgrade on launch day? When I placed the order over the phone the sales rep couldn't tell me.

I have just checked the website and it is now showing as ready for pre-order. Also it shows in stock and to expect dispatch within 1 day.
We will aim to get your new handset to you as quick as possible, once your order has been dispatched you will receive notification :).

I’m sorry to say Katie, but “I have just checked the website and it is now showing as ready for pre-order. Also it shows in stock and to expect dispatch within 1 day.” is a misleading statement. I placed my order the minute the product appeared on the website by phoning 150. I was told I would get the phone on the day that EE would call “release day”. On that basis I ordered the thing.
Come me last week, I got no email or text from EE or DPD. This week I get a “sop” email telling me it will be delivered as soon as stock comes in. I can tell you one thing, I hope to get a phone from Samsung direct by Saturday. I shall not by upgrading my sons iPhone to the iPhone 11 (or whatever they intend to call it) on EE, I cannot trust the company to honour its commitments.
