Upgraded on 10th August for a sim only deal received a confirmation email saying it was being processed and will let me know when it’s on the way haven’t had anything else??

Anyone else having problems getting their order? firstly it wasnt entered on the system properley so missed the first date then told it will be with me a week later to now be told its out of stock! seriously thinking of cancelling my order.
Hi there I upgraded to this model last week however the website is saying 28 days for delivery. Is it possible I won't get this upgrade on launch day? When I placed the order over the phone the sales rep couldn't tell me. Many thanks DSS
