I had a phone number about 6 years ago and I need that number to get back into my Xbox account, is there any way I can transfer that number onto a new sim so I can receive the security code text, the phone number doesn’t seem to Be in use atm

No that number will most likely be in use again now.

 

And even if it isn't there is no way of getting it back.
