Moving sim from Samsung S5 to Samsun A41 with the same phone number

Hi i have a PAYG with a Samsung S5 and i have just brough a Samsung A41. The A41 came with a new sim but i want to keep my old number. As i'm staying with EE can i just take my SIM from my old S5 and just put it into the A41?
