Good evening,  I have a 4g mini wifi router. I have lost the card with the network password/key on and have also lost the back off the router. I have tried logging on to the device on my Internet browser using password admin but its telling me it is incorrect. Can anyone please help.

Login to your MBB router at http://192.168.1.1 with username/pwd as "admin"/"admin" or with the password found under the battery cover. Then on the WiFi Settings tab you should be able to see your WiFi password in clear & change it.

I dont have the battery cover, hence not having access to the network key.

Then you've lost an important part of the gubbins.

I know this. Thats why I've come here to ask for advice. The link to log in to the device does not work. It tells me the password is incorrect. So for instance I log in using admin for user name and password, it tells me these details are incorrect.

Hi @Hales85,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

Is the WiFi network saved on any of your devices?

Thanks

James

It is, its saved on my laptop. I tried logging in to the device using the
laptop but it kept telling me the password was incorrect. It didn't ask for
a user name.

Thanks

It may be worth speaking to our Tech Gurus, @Hales85

Hopefully they'll be able to help you get connected again.

Chris

Thank you, I'll pop into my local EE store and speak to someone face to
face.
