Micro Sim to Nano Sim on a PrePay Phone and keep same number

How to keep my phone number (Prepay) when swapping from a micro sim smartphone to a nano sim Smartphone?

I have tried phoning EE for help, but because of the present climate, understandably very busy.

Tried on-line through the EE Account, but information not clear what to do?

Are the replacement Sim Cards free to existing customers or is a payment needed (£1.50 plus delivery charge)?

Thank in advance for your help.

Hello Leanne.

Just phoned 150.

Your very kind and friendly colleague has helped me to obtain a new 'Nano Sim Card' and update my home address, hopefully the new sim card will arrive through the post in a few days (fingers crossed!).

Thanks again Leanne for your support!

Hi there @YoungHeart

Thanks for coming to the community.

When you order the replacement online does this advise, there is a £1.50 charge for the delivery of the SIM card?

Thanks 🙂

Leanne.

Hello Leanne.

Thank you for your reply.

Yes it does say a charge of £1.50, however, I am on a 'prepay' account, not sure if that makes a difference, I have tried clicking the link, and also tried finding my old address to change, but no luck, I have contacted kind and helpful folk at Customer Services/Complaints for help.

Hi @YoungHeart

Thanks for coming back to me.

This charge is correct, have you had a SIM card sent by our customer care team?

Thanks 🙂

Leanne.

Not as yet, I am not sure really, my worry is if I have clicked something and it has gone to my old address, then it is a problem, however, I can get the the account page with a few details on it such as name telephone etc, but no address to change? Wierd!

Hi @YoungHeart

Did you register your address with us previously?

Have you been charged for the SIM?

Thanks 🙂

Leanne.

Hello Leanne.

I did register it, probably about 2008 from my old address, not sure if I have been charged for it yet, as I am on Prepay/PAYGO.

Re: Charge.

No change to my credit, so assume no charge has been taken.

Ta!
