Can someone please confirm something for me. Up until today I had itemised billing on my account (not requested btw) I was being charged 2.50 per month without even knowing. The reason I had no idea was because I was always under the impression you only get charged for itemised billing when they send it to you through the post... In the last 7 yrs with EE I have NEVER received a paper bill but have found out I've been paying for it all along. I've spoke to different team members at ee who have told me completely different things! Some say you only pay for it to be posted, some say you pay 2.50 per month and can see it for FREE online (how when you've paid 2.50 for the service??) and some say you can view your itemised bill online and on app for free at anytime... NO two advisors agree on the matter and I've searched through forums and again...completely different views on this matter. My friends and family with ee only get charged if they request it to be posted but others don't pay for itemised but can view online anytime for free 🤔 so confused right now!! Any help is greatly appreciated.

@ladypain69 Itemised billing is a paid for services you don’t have to have a paper bill postage if your happy with just online viewing. Unless you have itemised billing you can not just request it to be sent as it has to be in place for that month of billing as it’s can not be back dated. And one who request a paper bill will be paying for it already to get that paper bill upon request.

I thought the £2.50 charge was for sending out a hard copy (itemised !) and I asked for the service to be removed. They agreed to remove "itemised paper billing" but continued to charge me. They agreed again with my new contract but still charge me. On your bill you can't remove this add-on!
Anyway , I still get the bill in the post and I still pay £2.50 despite being promised they would remove it.
It seems it is a bolted on charge that they hide.
You would have thought that if you have an on-line account you would be able to see the "items" you are being charged for free of charge. Bit of a swindle EE.
Unfortunately you do need a list of charges as it's quite involved sometimes, especially when you start a new contract.
They should be more upfront and tell you you have to pay £2.50 charge but they skirt round it.
Not very good transparency EE
