Issues: Moved number from EE PAYG to pay monthly

Good morning

I moved my EE PAYG number to my new pay monthly EE phone yesterday after calling EE.

The gentleman said it was successful, and gave me his email just in case.

However, I am having a rather strange problem.

 
Upon checking, my number is showing on my EE account as correct, my old PAYG one. And if someone calls me it's also fine. They can reach me on that same number.
 
However, if I text or call someone the number at their side is showing as the new pay monthly number?
 
I cannot understand this, if anyone can help I'd be very grateful.

It sounds like the number port hasn't fully transferred over. 

 

Have you tried switching your phone off and then back on?

 

If it's still doing this on Monday, then I would advise giving customer service a call on 150, and explain what is happening. Hopefully though by then, the number port/transfer will have fully completed and things will be working as they should.

I have indeed switched my phone off twice and restarted it, but no joy yet.

 

I will wait a few days and hopefully it'll be sorted otherwise I'll give them a call.
