Ipad Pro 5G

Hi All,

Only a quick one...

Just didn't know if anyone had started receiving any information around the processing &/or shipping of their Ipad Pro 5G pre-orders that they had made yet?

Just for reference and comparison, I have ordered the 12.9 Pro 256GB on 30/4 at 1:21pm (when the website actually loaded showing the 5G's as order-able! 🙂)

What is the problem with ordering, are you getting an error or something?

You can always ring customer service and they can put the order through for you. I usually do this.

Hi all,

Have been following along with this thread as I'm in a similar situation with my order status still awaiting confirmation (and I'm really impatient!)

Anybody lucky enough to have had any updates with their shipping yet so far? Frustratingly it's still showing the iPad I'm waiting for (2TB, Silver, 12.9) as in stock for dispatch within a day on the website, but I'm assuming that just hasn't been updated at this point!

Still waiting here, nothing as yet. I think others have received their DPD updates around 4pm, patiently impatiently waiting.

I'm hoping it won't be much longer. When did you order your iPad?

Originally placed an order on the preorder date for a 256GB model and then cancelled that and changed to the 2TB model a few days later for future proofing. 

I guess I wasn’t expecting there to be a massive demand through EE, though! 🤦🏼‍♂️

I think the waiting would be a lot easier if there was just a date in mind, even if it was a few weeks from now

Yeah, I agree, the not knowing is super frustrating. You'd think they'd know roughly.

Everyone I've spoken to at EE seems to give out different information, so that's not much help. I'm going to give it a couple of weeks then call again for an update if I don't have anything by then.

I'm hoping to get mine before WWDC on the 7th of June where we'll see what's coming in iPad OS 15.

Good decision on the 2TB model. It'll be worth the wait, hang in there! 🙂

Agreed re: WWDC, holding out hope that with an M1 chip and focus on differences in RAM, that we might finally have a chance of being able to run native Mac apps on an iPad!

There’s no reason not to at this point, surely?!
