Ipad Pro 5G

Hi All,

Only a quick one...

Just didn't know if anyone had started receiving any information around the processing &/or shipping of their Ipad Pro 5G pre-orders that they had made yet?

Just for reference and comparison, I have ordered the 12.9 Pro 256GB on 30/4 at 1:21pm (when the website actually loaded showing the 5G's as order-able! 🙂)

Hey, sorry been a little slow on the reply.

 

Mine arrived today.  Yesterday the stock seemed to appear at about 4pm, which is when those of us fortunate enough to have delivery today got updates in the DPD app.  Didn’t get any info from EE until around 7:30pm.

 

The cut off for delivery is 8pm to the best of my knowledge, so still time yet.  And from what I have seen so far, it will be soooo worth the wait 🙂

Spoke with EE again this morning and apparently "awaiting picking" just means it's an open order. So still no time scale.

 

I was also told that EE receives deliveries on Tuesdays and Fridays.

 

The guy said that there is a status of "within 28 days" which is worse than the current status, so said that sounded positive. However, he still couldn't give any indication of when, but said he was hopeful I'd get a DPD notification this week.

 

I'm going to give it a couple of weeks and if I still do not receive anything, I'll call them back.

I think you are being very patient…

 

there does seem to be more actual date information coming from EE generally…which is encouraging

Exact stock levels for storage options aside.

If you work on the basis of a pre-order placed on 30/4 13:18 arrived for me yesterday, you should be able to get a rough idea of when yuo ordered vs expected delivery as a worst case at least.

They do seem to be moving along now and getting some traction at least!

A guy from my local store called me back today asking if I wanted to order still, as they are expecting stock of the 256GB SG 12.9 tomorrow..  

 

Not sure if it means anything, and tbh I doubt that stores have any more info than customer services, but hopefully means that stock is flowing!
