Internal porting from a Flex Plan to a contract

I've very recently started an EE Flex plan and have successfully ported my number from ID Mobile to it.

I've just seen a Uswitch exclusive deal that will give me a much better deal on EE albeit as a contract which I'm ok with.

Is there any way to port my Flex number to a new EE contract internally or do I have to go through the port out port back in rigmarole?

Hi @zcjp

You would need to port out, then back into your new contract.

Thanks

You may ask CS to move your Flex no. to your new contract.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC => 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC => 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC => 2022: EE 80 Meg FTTC (no landline number)

I've just tried calling 150 and it won't actually let me speak to anyone. The only options on offer all have to do with setting up a payment card for Flex which I've already done.

Just be patient & wait to the end of the options.

I wait to the end of the options. All I get is a short silence then the same options are offered again.
