It's March 2021 and the website will not allow me to edit card details, or remove expired cards. Infuriating as it means I can't top up online.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

@wgmacnab : You can use Fast Top Up online with a UK bank card. You don't need to pre-register any card.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

This is NOT the solution. Fast Top Up is of no use.
I have a rolling £5 monthly payment taken from my card for unlimited talk and text. I received a text this morning from EE saying my card was about to expire.
I cannot update the existing card to change the expiry date either online or via the EE app. I have used a variety of web browsers, all show the same issue.
It's May 2021 and the issue has not been resolved by EE.

@Markhereford : It was presumably for the OP of this thread to which you have latched onto. If you have a separate issue to which it doesn't apply I suggest you raise it as a separate thread of your very own.

Hi @Markhereford.
I'm sorry to hear that the solution didn't work for you. If you've tried multiple devices/browsers, I'd recommend speaking to our Mobile Care team who'll be able to update the card for you.

Hi Chris
The "solution" posted here does not address the issue submitted by the OP.
He could not amend card details online, nor could I. The Fast Payment method does not solve this, only allows a one off payment to be made. Useless for recurring payments.
If I go to my account on a web browser I can highlight the existing card but do nothing to amend it. I can add a new card, but this doesn't solve the problem either. I would then end up with duplicate cards, just a different expiry date, I assume. The EE app does not allow card details to be amended either.
This needs to be looked in to.
Here's another customer with the same issue and not getting any response..

Unfortunately EE live (phone) customer service has been poor to say the least. Specified time returned phone calls not being made on other issues. Seems like I am dealing with BT all over again.....

Ahem.. this is not just an EE quirk. At just about all of the websites & clubs etc where I have cards registered (including Paypal) I cannot edit existing cards. The only choice is to add a new/replacement card in full and delete the old one. A banking chap told me this is because customers make more mistakes editing old cards than setting up a new one. Don't know why!

@wardiThanks for that. Interesting. Just fills databases with even more irrelevant stuff.

yes, but on EE there is no way to DELETE the card (only add a new one) . This shouldn't be... other persons have been complaining about this for quite some time now. This is an issue.
