IPhone 12 pro max expected delivery date

I ordered an iPhone 12 pro max and was told I would receive it before 24th. For the past two days the 'expected delivery date' changed and had shown the date of between 22nd-24th. I went on today to check as it's now the 22nd and havnt heard anything and it's now changed back to just saying 'awaiting confirmation'. Why is this? Does this mean I won't receive it over the next two days as originally told.

Just confused why the status has now changed.

@Sparkyg16   I spoke with someone on here yesterday I’m sure that only waited around 5 days.   But with Christmas being literally tomorrow you might have to wait a little bit longer.

I ordered a Pacific Blue 128gb 12 Pro.

 

Thanks for any help you can give, just an idea on ETA would be great. I understand things may be taking longer than usual.

I ordered mine on the 1/12. I have phoned 3 times. Still not got the phone. Should I cancel my order? 

It’s weird that online this is saying in stock or low stock for the colours!

I ordered the 512 blue if that makes any difference but happy to have any colour @Sparkyg16
