So, I've received a 'Good news, your order is coming' text - should I get excited?
I called CC an dthey couldn't give me any further info on this update - can you?
Does it suggest some stock is in your warehouse?
We chatted yesterday, I think, I have an iPhone 12 Pro 128Gb Pacific Blue on order from 17/11/20
Thanks in advance for your help.
Chris

@ChrisGlynn In one word YES. It just means a device has been allocated to you from the received devices that has come in. It doesn’t mean there is stock it just means your order is about to be dispatched.

Sorry to burst your bubble but that is incorrect. You will receive a similar text every week after you, placed your order. I have received 3 now and it means nothing. Its just the system automatically sending the text. FYI - i ordered the same phone model, colour and storage as you on the 10th Nov and still havent received it

Ah, no worries - it doesn't come as surprise.
Pretty sure I had one a week or so ago too - but I'd recycled my old phone and ditched the messages.
Amazing how you can survive with a small, old iPhone - I've had to talk to my family, and everything...
Cheers @ElLusto

...and just to confirm @Chris_B , it's now day 17 of my wait since ordering, which is - admittedly - still within the 21 day delivery period that was suggested when I placed my order.
However, the brief moment of excitement on receiving my 'good news' text has now diminished, and I'm just hoping I get my 12 Pro, Pacific Blue 128Gb, before Christmas.
Thanks again to @ElLusto for keeping my feet on the ground.
