Hi. I have ported my number over from Vodafone to my old EE account. My number stopped working on my Vodafone handset at approx 9am this morning and although my ported number is showing on my EE account - my phone is only recognising my old number for texts and calls. I provided the PAC details to EE at approx 7pm on Tuesday 16th March

I am unable to send any texts - they fail to go through. However if I call put from this phone the "old" number shows up as the caller ID

This should be transferred for you by midnight last night, do you have the number you transferred showing in your phone settings?
If not, what phone do you have?

I have a Samsubg Galaxy S21 Ultra.
To be honest I am not sure where I would find the number in my phone settings! But I can that the number still has not ported as I am not receiving any calls or texts sent to that number.

Can you text NUMBER to 150 and let me know if the reply shows the temporary number?

Have you tried restarting your phone?
If so, please give us a call on 150 our Mobile Care team will get this looked into for you.

Hi Leanne - it seems that there was a glitch in the data transfer whenever the number was ported. It has now been resolved by someone in the porting team.
